Explore a lava tunnel from the 2004 eruption, in the heart of Grand Brûlé in Saint-Philippe, not far from Tremblet Beach. An adventure guided by a passionate caving guide, you will navigate mostly standing up, sometimes on all fours, through volcanic galleries, lava stalactites, fossilized fossils and other unique concretions. Accessible from age 5.

Set off on a journey to the centre of the earth to discover a wonderful world. Discovery half-day initiation, with some low passages and narrow sections (crawlways never compulsory) for those who want to live underground adventure to the fullest.

You will discover the history of Piton de la Fournaise volcano while discovering the formation of lava tunnels and their specific concretions...

The lava tunnel explored is located in the 2004 flow on Grand Brûlé. After 10 minutes approach, you enter the tunnel through an entrance of 1.50 m / 2 m.

Ideal for beginners, you will walk upright most of the time and discover « the shark », « the dodo », fossil filaos (peri-morphosis), stalactites and columns...

You will pass under the road before exiting, 5 minutes from the car.
