You will discover the history of Piton de la Fournaise volcano while discovering the formation of lava tunnels and their specific concretions...

The lava tunnel explored is located in the 2004 flow on Grand Brûlé. After 10 minutes approach, you enter the tunnel through an entrance of 1.50 m / 2 m.

Ideal for beginners, you will walk upright most of the time and discover « the shark », « the dodo », fossil filaos (peri-morphosis), stalactites and columns...

You will pass under the road before exiting, 5 minutes from the car.
